Okay, this is really silly. I forgot that Felicia has his purse/bag-thing on him in this scene, and I hadn’t drawn it since the scene where they said goodbye to Grengis. Normally I wouldn’t give much thought to this sort of minutia, but the whole reason the bag was introduced in Ch.2 is because Felicia uses its contents in this scene. So, yeah. To make the story make any kind of sense without “oops, the magic bag suddenly reappeared” I went back and edited several pages.
You’ll notice that I didn’t add the bag to every panel with Felicia on it, because these panels weren’t originally designed that way and it was looking weird/confusing. Plus it takes up way too much time. I only added it to panels where you’d obviously notice it wasn’t there. I will edit the other pages later in the process, but in the interest of forward development I haven’t worried about it too much.
Anyway. Those of you who read day-to-day will probably notice the MAGIC REAPPEARING BAG! Sorries.
You may have noticed this already with all the site redesigns, but I have been trying to come up with a way to make money from this website. I eventually want to make this comic my full-time job so that I can bring you more than just two pages every week. It’s what I love to do, and I know that you guys like more pages. But ever since I quit my job a few months ago, I’ve been in a financial sinkhole. I’m going to get a new job soon, and that’s okay. I’m not asking for a hand-out to get me out of this impending situation. A job is a job. All that I want is to figure out what works here so that someday I can draw Lavender Legend full-time.
So please answer this poll honestly, and leave a comment if you have a thought on the subject.
