Bonus Comics and More!

What is this?
This is an optional bonus section for devoted fans who help support the comic with a small payment of $2 each month.
Do I have to subscribe to read bonus stuff?
The cheapest and easiest way to see all the bonus comics is to subscribe. But, if you can't or don't want to subscribe, there are a few other ways you can get the material. Bonus comics are often featured in our print editions. You can also buy bonus comics individually as digital downloads after they are copmpleted. Check our DriveThru Comics page.
What do I get?
Lavender Legend is a free webcomic that relies on voluntary support from its readers and fans. By subscribing, you'll get:- Access to bonus comics.
- Access to the bonus image gallery.
- Ad-free browsing throughout the site.
- Extras like avatars, wallpapers, and other customizable goodies.
A print comic would cost you $8 + shipping.
A print of the exclusive artwork would cost at least $5 depending on size.
The extra goodies aren't available anywhere else.
You get all this cool stuff just $2 and the satisfaction of supporting an artist who provides free media to the internet.

Am having trouble logging in again. Is there a problem with the site? I seem to be paying the subscription OK.
Best wishes,
Chris.
I am contacting the support now to see if there’s a problem. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Hi Jamie.
The problem was one of presentation. I was going thru a lot of pressure at the time so cannot remember exactly what happened but there is a behavioural glitch inasmuch that when you sign in it just re-displayed the login window again, and again, etc. giving the impression that something is wrong and that you are not logged in when, in fact, you are. (It happens in both Win XP SP3 and Win 7, both times in Firefox latest.
Thanks for the great comic. I love it.
Chris.
Thanks for the extra info. Does this happen 100% of the time or just sometimes? I haven’t gotten a response back from them yet, but that’s probably what they’re going to ask.
Hi Jamie.
It’s difficult to say as I haven’t been on the members’ site for a while due to pressure of exhibitions. I don’t recollect it happening before. It was consistent and the only way to get rid of it was to click “Close”. Knowing what to expect, it is not a problem. It is just that usually when one logs in to a site one does not expect to see the Login windowette to reappear.
Thinking back to the weekend, I DID put in the incorrect details a couple of times as normally I do not use my notebook for comics and on my laptop I usually leave the PC to enter the details automatically (or elect to stay logged in).
I hope that helps. I’m a bit to set in my ways to handle sudden changes; something to do with getting old. >_<
Chris.
Had a friendly person from Admium contact me and he confirmed that there was a problem and that they were working on it. In the meantime he re-instated my membership and al seems ok at the moment. Don’t know if this is a UK problem or worldwide.
All the best from a dreach island off the west of Scotland,
Chris.
Hi, Jamie. Sorry to bother you, but I don’t remember my password to get to the member’s area. I do pay monthly… What do I need to do to reset it?
Hello Jamie.
It’s happened again. On 27th Nov I set up a new Paypal monthly payment.
However I was not asked for a username or password and using the one I used to use just tels me that my membership has expired. Can you help?
I’m really sorry it happened to you again. I don’t have any control from my end, except that I can contact admium for you. As usual, you’ll have to email me specific info about your account to relay to them. I’m going to look into alternatives to Admium.
S’OK. I’ll have another go at Jeff at Admium. You’ll be busy enough w/o this problem added.
Just a thought. Can you email my username and password to me. It may be that I have the wrong ones in my database.
That is a possibility, and I would definitely ask them about it.
The trouble is, I have absolutely no control over that end of the functions. I can’t view or edit people’s accounts from the administration panel that I have. I don’t even have the ability to see who is signed up without requesting that info from Admium. All I see is how many people are signed up.
So, it would be much easier for you to ask them directly, since you already have a dialogue with them. All I can really do is relay information.
I got in touch with Jeff at Admium and have a new password which I willtry today, DV.
Best wishes, Chris.
This is getting to be more and more of a farce. I contacted Admium and got my username confirmed and a new password. Then I tried to log in and, would you believe it it said that my subscription had expired. So I sent them proof of payment on 27th November, and it’s back in their court.
Solved. I use a specific name for PayPal and that is now my username. Phew!
I’m glad that it got figured out.
