I’m doing something weird this week and updating on Saturday. I’m trying to catch up with the page I missed on Thursday. Not something that I normally do, but I would really like to get this chapter underway ASAP. So, I’m posting the update intended for Monday early in the hopes that I can update twice in the following week, and make up for the missing update.
Not sure if that will happen, but at least for now you can enjoy this page. It explains a little about one of the religious aspects of the setting, and there’s a nice picture of Alex looking something less than sneaky for a whole millisecond.

In the second panel, “the order adoptopted the myth”. Isn’t that a mistake?

It’s just a typo. I wouldn’t have even noticed, because I’m so used to reading the scripts I only see the first and last letters of words sometimes. Speaking another language first is probably a benefit for you in reading English, since you see the words as whole.
