Hey guys. Sorry about Thursday’s update, but I think I’m going to have to hold off until Monday. Got a little side-tracked with the bonus comic and all this week.
So to tide you over, I applied some color to my final sketch of Argotta. Now you can see his hair and eye color, and I’ share a few random character facts.
He is 14 years old and roughly 5 feet tall. He takes after his father with brown hair and green eyes. His major colors are gold, silver, and navy blue. You can’t tell in the black and white comics so easily, but I imagine his tunic being shiny like lame, or something equally obnoxious. He has an amber piece on the silver circlet he wears instead of a crown.
Argotta is how Lavender might have turned out if not for the affection of her maids and other servants, a spoiled noble who only values human life as far as it entertains him. His life has been so strictly controlled under the thumb of his father that he lashes out with violence. Although he is in line for the throne, he would make a horrendous ruler. His reign would make his father’s look peaceful and stable.

He looks like DiLandau from Escaflowne`
Haven’t seen that anime, but was that the character who turned out to be a girl? I remember when it was released in the US and everybody was talking about it, but I never did get to watch it.
No, DiLandau was the creep that kept disobeying orders to detain Escaflowne and instead did his best to destroy it. Especially after Escaflowne’s pilot cut his cheek. The guy was a real priss about his looks.
