It’s always kinda hard for me when I get to a scene that I’ve been thinking about for a long time. Another example was the scene where Felicia and Lavender kissed, or when Felicia wears a man’s clothes. It’s like my brain hypes it up and then I can’t deliver it 100%. I never know how much of what I’m trying to say gets all the way to the readers and how they look at it. But that’s art for you. It’s never quite what you want it to be, and it’s never the same for everybody. So I just do my best on these type of scenes and hope that you enjoy it.

Member’s Area Poll

For the rest of this month and some time into June, I’m going to be moving and putting my life back together (finding a job, place to live, etc.) so just getting the main comic done will be some work. But after that, I want to start promoting our members area. It’s a part of the site where people can choose to pay $2 a month to support the site, and in return, they get access to extra stuff. It’s completely optional, but it represents one way for me to make some kind of profit out of a free webcomic, so that I can continue making it.

Right now I know that a handful of you (8 to be exact) have subscribed, even though I don’t update the bonus area often. So what I would like to know is what people would like to see, what you’d feel good about paying for, and that type of thing. Here’s a poll. You can pick up to 3 options. But you can also comment and let me know specifically how you feel about it.

Monday, April 30th

About today’s update, well I made a few stupid mistakes (forgot my drawing stylus when I went out for the day) and now it’s late. I’ll try to have it up tonight, or early in the morning tomorrow.

It’s been pretty busy around here, since I’m going to move soon. It’s a big move too, over 1600 miles. Lots of packing, sending things off, making arrangements, etc.

I’m also going to be at A-kon in about a month from now, so I’m preparing for that as well. The bonus comic fund we raised earlier in the year is going towards merchandising on this trip. After reviewing the cost and demand of printing textile things like T-shirts in small runs, I thought it would be better to wait until I can buy in bulk. In the meantime, I’ll still be selling books, buttons, keychains, art prints, and other odds and ends.

An online store for these items will go up once I am settled in my new home. :) In the meantime, if you have any ideas for something you would actually buy if it existed, let me know in the comments.

Hey guys. Just letting you know, I intend to have the page up later today. It’s another one of those crunch days, so it could be later in the evening before I get around to finishing it up.

I’m about to finish Wrong Secret, and Thorn Prince 5 will be starting in May, for those of you following my work on Filthy Figments.

New Page When?

Normally I have Thursday’s page done on Wednesday night, but currently I’m working on a project that is also due Thursday.  So, I will have it up ASAP but it will be later tomorrow instead of tonight.

Donation Goal Met!

Whoo! Our quarter-year goal of $350 was met. Since the project was so successful, I may go to a monthly format for donation goals.

This means that the bonus comic will be posted. The chip-in was set to end June 1st, but it’s such a long way off that I’ll try to have it done before then.
